The Meryton Assembly

Welcome!

The Meryton Assembly is home to fan fiction based on the works of Jane Austen, but it is much more than that. We are a community of Janeites and we're always looking for more kindred spirits! You can feed your JAFF addiction here in three ways: PDF versions of completed stories in the Pemberley Library; completed stories displayed on individual author's webpages in the Meryton Reading Room; and both completed and in-progress stories posted in our lively community, A Happy Assembly. Come join the fun!

The Meryton Literary Society is your home for JAFF

The Meryton Assembly is run by a non-profit organization called the Meryton Literary Society. MLS has been organized exclusively to educate the general public by promoting and providing a venue to publish literature, both Jane Austen fan fiction and original fiction.
